If the cats can eat my food, why can’t I eat theirs? Chaz and Leo are quick to seize the remnants of my peas, carrots, and chicken breasts (which I kindly place on the floor for them to enjoy). But whenever I head for their food dishes, Mom pulls me away and tells me, “No, Cooper…. cat food is for cats.” I mean, c’mon, let’s not get greedy here. Can’t we share? And their dishes are in the perfect location for a quick little nibble, an afternoon snack, or a little somethin' to settle the stomach after a big dinner.
But I have a secret to share with you. Dad doesn’t know it but I have eaten cat food and to be honest with you, I prefer chicken over the tuna variety. Mmmmm tasty.
